Important updates about COVID-19 and how we can serve you

The Help Me Grow Washington network includes parents, caregivers, service providers, community partners, and professionals of all kinds. We welcome all who are interested in joining us and who support building an organized system of community resources to help children grow up healthy.

Local Help Me Grow Systems

Local Help Me Grow systems are made up of organizations and local champions for healthy child development and, along with support from the Help Me Grow Washington state affiliate, WithinReach, are responsible for the implementation of Help Me Grow locally. They work together so that families and caregivers can more easily access essential resources and support in their community.

Help Me Grow Skagit is overseen by the Children’s Council of Skagit County and United General District 304, and supported by a variety of partners. Included in their regional model is a Family Resource Navigator, Pregnancy Connections, Newborn Outreach, and a Family Resource Center to support Skagit families with young children.

Help Me Grow/Ayúdame a Crecer supporting Yakima and Kittitas Counties is guided by the Investing in Children Coalition and Yakima Valley Community Foundation. Included in their regional model is a Family Resource Navigator in their community to support the healthy growth and development of children.

Funded by the Best Starts for Kids Levy, Help Me Grow King County’s implementation approach is a collaborative partnership with community-based organizations that provide culturally-relevant resources and services for children and families.

Help Me Grow Island County is overseen by Partners for Young Children Island County, an initiative of Whidbey Community Foundation. Together with Island County Public Health and other early childhood resource partners they collaborate to support children and families. Soon to be included in their regional model is a Help Me Grow Island County Resource Directory, catered to meet the needs of their unique geographical areas.

State Help Me Grow System

WithinReach is the Washington state affiliate for Help Me Grow and the organizing entity for the statewide infrastructure. In this role, WithinReach leads the expansion of Help Me Grow, working with local communities to plan and implement it in a way that honors the unique needs and resources of their regions. WithinReach offers system expertise – technical assistance, onboarding, training, data infrastructure support, and resources – as well as advocacy efforts to align with statewide early childhood initiatives. WithinReach also serves as the statewide coordinated access point for families seeking support through its Help Me Grow Washington Hotline.
